The New Hampton Historical Society was established in 1945. Dedicated to historic preservation and education, the Society collects and preserves artifacts and information from and about the town of New Hampton. These collections include items pertaining to The New Hampton School, in earlier times known as the New Hampton Literary and Biblical Institution, the town’s public schools, local industries, and people of the town.

The Society’s Executive Board meets monthly except for August and December, and all are welcomed. The annual meeting includes the election of officers, and it is held in July.
